Who am I?
I am an IT Professional in Storage, Backup and System Management area
having deep technical experience in Systems
Management, Infrastructure Design.
I have been working at Ionos since November 2022 ensuring the Object Storage services to be available, reliable and well performing. My primary focus on this role is on Cloudian and Ceph.
Previously, I was working at Dell Technologies as a Principal Engineer in Service Delivery team. I was responsible for variety of products such as PowerMax, Vmax, Vplex, VxRail, Dell ECS/ObjectScale, Unity, Recoverpoint, Recoverpoint for VMs, Isilon/Powerscale.
I also love scripting and writing some codes to ease my life. I am not an expert however, I can write Python, BASH and a little Powershell.
Besides, I love the concept of self hosting, keeping the control of my data, and setting up several great open source software on my personal lab which spans over different geolocations. So far my favorite applications are Vaultwarden, Firefly III, Paperless NGX and a lot more.
